Five Independent telephone companies formed a partnership in 2000 to build our towers in Fayette and the eastern half of Bremer Counties, associated with I Wireless (formerly known as Iowa Wireless).

The companies are:

• East Buchanan Telephone Cooperative, Winthrop
• Hawkeye Telephone Company, Hawkeye
• Northeast Iowa Telephone, Monona
• Oran Mutual Telephone, Oran
• Readlyn Telephone Company, Readlyn

All five companies have a seat on the Board of Directors for CDW and meet once a month to discuss issues and finances.
